Electricity is the axial force around which modern world revolves, thus to fulfill the needs of society. Electrical engineering department was established in the year 2017.

Faculty

The department has qualified and experienced faculty which strives to give the students the best of everything needed to create outstanding engineers. The strong faculty- student’s interaction provides opportunities to the students to work with commitment.

Laboratories

The department has four well equipped labs and Workshops viz. –

electrical machines lab, electrical measurement lab and electrical workshop-1 and electrical workshop-2. Most attention is given to students in their practical to understand the practical concept of electrical engineering. The department has excellent physical and human resources,

Projects, Trainings & Seminars:

Every year final year students are guided to design the projects of electrical engineering having latest trends. Practical training is also imparted to II year students in leading industries like Pyrotech, HZL, Birla Cement, J.K Cement, Power System, Hercules Control Panels, and R.S.E.B., Thermal Power Station, etc. The electrical department runs hands on training like AUTO CAD, Motor Winding and Panel Wiring etc. for Final year and Second year students to make students more skilled. The department is also associated with CDTP (MHRD, New Delhi) wing of the Polytechnic to organize the training programs of utility technician, house wiring, motor winding ‘etc.

Placements

Most of the students opt for higher education (B.Tech) and the rest get their job through campus placement in various organizations.

Result : Every year students acquire merit position in board examination.
